Charming Mr. Freeman

This project tells the story of a young man's self-made documentary defining his success in a few short steps, only for his classic shining star portrayal to take a considerably dark turn as reality clashes with his powerful and violent contradictions.

As a project made during the height of the COVID 19 Pandemic, the use of a limited set concerning shorts and space offered an excellent opportunity to utilize close spaces, decolorization, and heavy contrast as a means of building tension and anxiety in contrast to the fake smiles and cheap spendor of the introduction. This was a project which I enjoyed tremendously as an initial horror project.
